Ya ofcourse, we’re always ask about conditions, ask about felling, right? but some people choose to make small talk about things that are actually sensitive, like a “ why you so fat now? How come you're so skinny?” but There sentence is already included in body shaming, and do you know guys? body shaming has included bullying type verbal.
Now I want to tell you about body shaming because, body shaming is one of the biggest problems in today’s generation. For the first, Body shaming is the practice of making critical, comments about a person's body size, weight, skin, face, or about Physical abnormalities either by incidents or genetics. Body shaming has become a problem for both sexes.
Body shaming can be anywhere like a in the school, social life, or in social media. Body shaming can happen to anyone, cause body shaming often occurs in daily life, whether we realize it or not. For example society usually jokes by tease someone's body, call someone like a in bahasa “nduut, tiang listrik…".
Do you know? anyone can be a body shaming person, and body shaming is not only done by others, but body shaming can be done to yourself. Have you ever seen yourself in the mirror and you say in bahasa "duh kok gendut bangetsi?" or you always compare yourself to other people. That includes the body shaming and you being both a victim and a shaming person.
Body shaming can have an impact, 1. body shaming leads to a mental health issue, 2. Can lead to eating disorder, and 3. could lead to suicide.
Body shaming victims can do the same thing to others because victims feel hurt over the body shaming treatment they experience.
So guys what can we do, when we experience the body shaming? 1. Be grateful & Learn to love yourself, 2. Express what you feel, 3. Ignore what others say, 4. Accepting your own shortcomings, 5. Learn to forgive.
So guys just be yourself and watch your mouth cause your words can hurt someone.
